Welcome To Fulwood Sports Club
Fulwood Sports Club is actually a collection of individual clubs, comprising of Fulwood Lawn Tennis Club, Fulwood Squash & Racketball Club, Fulwood Bowling Club and Fulwood Snooker Club. A collection of clubs within a club if you will, who together form Fulwood Sports Club. New members can elect to join as many sections as they wish, or if sport is not your thing then we also welcome social members too.
Fulwood Sports Club is often referred to as the ‘Gem of Fulwood’ and for good reason. Its floral, shrubbery and tree lined grounds are beautifully maintained and our Lawn View Clubhouse affords stunning vistas over Sheffield’s only remaining grass tennis courts to the Mayfied Valley and beyond. The perfect place to while away a summer evening after your sport of choice.
Club Details
Fulwood Sports Club (FSC) is a members club, which means in simple terms that it is run by its members. Each ‘section’ of FSC is a club in its own right but collectively they form FSC. Each club/section has its own committee and FSC has an elected board made up from representatives of each of the club/sections. This group of people run the club on a purely voluntary basis. Each club/section and FSC have AGM’s where committee and board members are elected so that over time the running of the club is shared amongst its members.
This ‘self governing’ process has served the club well for over a century and we encourage any of our members, new or existing, who can spare some of their time and wish to help and get involved with their club/section committees.

Relax in our clubhouse with a stunning view over the tennis courts
Lawn View Clubhouse is our friendly bar which serves club members and their guests. It is the place where all sections come together to socialise, celebrate and relax. The Clubhouse provides a unique ambience which is intimate and cosy during the winter months, but open the doors to the sun terrace and warm summer evenings can be enjoyed with a glass of something cold while watching tennis being played on Sheffield’s only remaining grass courts.
Everyone is welcome to try out our fantastic facilities, you can become a regular by joining as a sports or social member from as little as £20 per year if you like what we have to offer.
Our bar is always stocked with an excellent selection of drinks available all through open hours except for pre-organised nights when team meals and social events are arranged.
